Children’s Field Ecology Program

This program will explore the infamous areas of the Refuge including the super secret, extra squishy mud trail!

Find the magic at Fairy Dell and get a taste of Chocolate Pudding Pond. We will journey to Dune Road to seine for slippery fish and quick crabs! Remember to wear closed-toed sturdy shoes and dress to get wet every day! Classes run Monday through Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Repeaters entering grades 5-6 will be off on Wednesday, July 4th, and will have a night hike on Friday from 7:00 P.M. to 10:30 P.M. Parent drivers will be needed to help transport children on Thursday to and from Dune Road.
Week 1: June 25 – June 29, Beginners entering grades 2-3
Week 2: *July 2, 3, 5, 6, Repeaters entering grades 5-6 (Wednesday July 4 off)
Week 4: July 16 – July 20, Beginners entering grades 4, 5, 6
Week 7: August 6 – 10, Repeaters entering grades 3-4
Week 8: August 13 – 17, Beginners entering grades 2-3
