Autumn Adventures Holiday Workshop

Children ages 3.5 and up are welcome to join SMLI on their days off from school to enjoy hours of fun, hand-on science activities! Join the Science Museum of Long Island as we celebrate the return of chilly weather at our Autumn Adventures Holiday Workshop! Observe the changes of the season at Leeds Pond Preserve! Find out what species of birds are preparing to hunker down for the winter, and which will be jetting off to migrate someplace warmer.

Children ages 3.5 and up are welcome to join SMLI on their days off from school to enjoy hours of fun, hand-on science activities! Children will participate in experiments, create crafts, and observe demonstrations.
- Holiday Workshops are drop off programs. Please send your child with a packed lunch.
- Time: 10:00 am until 3:00 pm
- Cost: $100 per child *NEW for 2025: $10 sibling discount! *Save 10% with a Jr. Scientist Family Membership or higher.
- Children are grouped by grade starting with pre-k (4 years old). Some grades may be grouped together.
