School Holiday Programs: MLK Day– Queens Botanical Garden

During this single day drop-off program, young gardeners will learn about food justice movements in Black history. Children will start seeds in our greenhouse, make recipes, and explore our interconnected ecosystems. We’ll enjoy the Children’s Garden, where kids spend time gardening, playing, observing, and learning in a nurturing environment. Pre-K to 5th grade

This program is for drop-off only and takes place mostly all outdoors. Participants may go indoors for inclement weather. Masks are not required. We kindly require that all children are able to use the restroom independently.
