Recycling Resolution with The town of Brookhaven
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/02/2019
Start the new year off right by joining this recycling discussion and activity. Recycling is t he best way to keep plastics out of our waterways
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Participants will first sign a pledge promising to recycle and spread the word about the importance of recycling. The group will then help clean plastics off the beach and upcycle a personal belonging. In February we will make upcycled bird feeders. Please bring a 2-liter plastic bottle or large water bottle and two sticks, one-foot in length and about the width of a pencil. After the activity we will head out to pick up litter and marine debris that is on the beach. All ages.
*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
