Fun-Run
Join us in the park for a Community Day Fun Run! Represent Riverhead, wear your blue and white accessories and any other fun Riverhead-centric gear. T-shirts will be given to the first 50 registrants.The run/walk is approximately 1-mile and is fun for all. Refreshments will be served for run participants afterwards, courtesy of Lighthouse Market & Deli and Meeting House Deli yum! Fee: $15.00 Non-Residents $20.00
Agents of Discovery
You will also be able to check out our new Agents of discovery mobile ap. we’ll be running a special Community Day Mission. Show us your completed mission and you’ll take home a prize!
Circus Workshop
Come One, Come All! Enjoy a 1-hour workshop learning circus skills. Circus is known for families working together. This workshop will include learning skills such as juggling, plate spinning, diabolos, balancing and flower sticks to name a few. You will also learn movement driven skills which include mime and clowning for a full circus experience. Ages 5+ (All children 5 & 6 years old MUST have a parent regisiter and participate with them) Pre-registration is required as we have two 1-hour long sessions especially for Community Day. Fee: $10.00 Non-Resident $15.00
Strong Island Roller Derby Team
Join the skaters of Strong Island as they demonstrate roller derby game play! This is a full contact sport played on roller skates, and is not for the faint-of-heart. After the mini-demonstration game the skaters of Strong Island Derby will be skating around our roller rink where you can join them to get roller skating tips or just enjoy some time on wheels with the music to guide you. We will have a limited amount of skates available to borrow. Fee: FREE
Video Game Truck
Game On Long Island brings the newest, most exciting mobile video game theater right to our park! Their brand new, HUGE 32 foot gaming theater features seven awesome gaming stations, five inside and two more outside, allowing up to 28 guests to play at one time! With stadium-style tiered seating, higher ceilings, full climate control, laser and neon lighting and more! Playing video games is fun but 100x more so outside in the park. Pre-registration will be required for this event to allow time for everyone to play Fee: $10.00
