AdvoKids: Juneteenth at LICM

In June, the AdvoKids series will focus on Juneteenth, the day of the emancipation of slavery in the United States. During this program visitors will be able to gain a better understanding of this federal holiday and will make a festive confetti popper to celebrate.

"AdvoKids” is a monthly series focusing on children learning what it means to be an advocate for themselves and others. Adults will learn how they can support their child’s self-advocacy efforts, which promote confidence, resilience and empathy.
Tickets for the 30 minute workshops at 11 AM and noon are free and will be available for up to 20 participants at the Box Office the day of the event
