Max combines magic and comedy, making objects appear and disappear and generally defying the laws of physics inches from theatergoer's faces. This high-energy, interactive and all-around silly show is appropriate for audiences of all ages (recommended 3 & up).
Max Darwin was on stage before he could walk. By the time he was five months old he was traveling alongside his parents, professional street performers specializing in clowning, mime, juggling, and magic. Since then, Max has emerged as one of the most sought-after magic artists in the country.
He can be seen as a guest artist and magic consultant on Season 3 & 4 of Brain Games, airing on the National Geographic Channel. His TV credits also include Blindspot, Black Box, and hosting the hit Nickelodeon show Game Farm".
In 2011 Max created The Amazing Max and The Box Of Interesting Things, which has successfully toured and played Off-Broadway. The show has received rave reviews from The New York Times, Huffington Post, PBS Kids, and many more. It was also nominated as "Best Family Show" by the Off-Broadway Alliance.
Max has also released an instructional magic video, Magic in Minutes, where he teaches kids ages 5 & up how to fill their everyday lives with wonder and perform magic with ordinary objects found right in their own home.
