ART CAMP FOR TEENS

For Teens ages 9-15 yrs
Our award winning Holiday Camps in Brooklyn’s Best Art School are offered on most Holidays and school recess from Sep through December 2022! Happy Campers dive into an action packed day, roll up your sleeves and explore a wide variety of media including: Painting, Drawing, Cartooning, Manga, Anime, Mixed Media, 3D + Recycled Found Object Art , Graffiti, Street Style Art + more! PLUS everyday is a different camp theme!

Our Full Day Art Camp kicks off with a series of fun warm up exercises in preparation for our first project, we break for lunch for an hour at 12pm-1pm + then we begin our second and final project of the day!

Outdoor Activities are included in our Full Day Camp! Weather permitting of course!

Please bring a packed lunch. Lunch will be at 12pm-1pm and taken in the park weather permitting of course!

Teens are not allowed to wander off during breaks and must stay in their pod.

Camp Projects are designed around fun themes like for example: Mother Nature, Planet Earth, Flora + Fauna, Butterflies or Birds, Animals: Dogs, Cats , Farm Animals Wild Kingdom: lions, tigers, Parrots, Elephants, Giraffes, exotic fauna, the Ocean: Let’s go Deep sea diving and discover exotic mammals like Whales and cool fish like Sharks and Octopus or discover transport like Trains, Aeroplanes, Cars, Fly across The Galaxy… check out the planets, the Sun, the Moon and the stars, as well as social or Holiday themes will be explored!

Project themes can also be designed around the specific Holiday or fun social themes- subjects like TV, Film, Pop Stars, Fashion, Street Art, Graffiti and more! We will also reference cool artists from past and present - from Leonardo to Bansky! Our plan to give you lots to think about and inspire future artistic endeavors!

Through the theme of the day (camp project)- Happy Campers will explore a huge variety of media to execute their individual creations! This may include exploration into but is not limited to: Drawing, Painting, Cartooning, Anime, Manga, Comic Book Style, Collage, Mixed Media, 3D Works, Found Object art, Graffiti + more!
