People have become increasingly comfortable talking about their mental health, particularly this past year. But the topic of suicide – when it comes up – is still scary for many people to think about.

Talk Saves Lives is an education program that provides participants with a clear understanding of this leading cause of death, including the most up-to-date research on suicide prevention, and what they can do in their communities to save lives.

Participants will learn the common risk factors for suicide, how to spot the warning signs in others, and how to keep ourselves, our loved ones, and those in our community safe. A Q&A session and discussion with a trained professional will follow the presentation. Talk Saves Lives is a program of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention nonprofit that seeks to bring hope to those affected by suicide through research, education, advocacy, and support.

Free! Registration Required.
