Down By the Bay Holiday Workshop

Join us as we head to the beach for our Down to the Bay Holiday Workshop! Discover the vast diversity of univalves, bivalves, birds and other creatures that call Manhasset Bay home by exploring their habitat up close. Children ages 3.5 and up are welcome to join SMLI on their days off from school to enjoy hours of fun, hand-on science activities! Children will participate in experiments, create crafts, and observe demonstrations.
Holiday Workshops are drop off programs. Please send your child with a packed lunch.
Time: 10:00 am until 3:00 pm
Cost: $100 per child *NEW for 2025: $10 sibling discount! *Save 10% with a Jr. Scientist Family Membership or higher.
Children are grouped by grade starting with pre-k (4 years old). Some grades may be grouped together.
