FIRE ISLAND SURF LESSONS

Surf lessons at Smith Point County Beach, Shirley NY
Due to unpredictable surfing conditions we reserve the right to cancel lessons if the surf is too rough or because of inclement weather. Every effort will be made to give you at least 24 hours' notice. In the event the lesson is cancelled you will receive a full refund if you cannot attend one of the make -up days.
Time slots are from 8AM-5PM
*Please pack snacks, plenty of water, sweatshirt, and sunscreen, rashguards, towel, and swimming attire.
**Your child MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM! NO EXCEPTIONS
There is a parking fee to enter Smith Point Park. They collect between the hours of 8am-5pm
Meet your instructor
Glenn Kleinhans is a lifelong surfer on Long Island. He has been surfing for over 30 years and loves to introduce his favorite hobby to others...especially kids. Glenn is a career educator who has coached and taught surfing for over two decades. He always puts safety first and wants you to have fun!
