Be a part of history with the Whaling Museum’s most time-honored craft - scrimshaw carving! In honor of America’s 250th, try your hand at this uniquely American folk art as you sketch, etch, and ink a scrimshaw-style keepsake with your own creativity! Both adults & kids welcome.
$5 Member; Admission + $5 Participant
This event is part of our "Liberty at Sea" series—a new year long program commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Bring your passport to the program and get a passport stamp!
