The shows take place at the Freeport Recreation Center which is conveniently located on Merrick Road, 1/4 mile west of the Merrick/Freeport border. It is a stone's throw from Freeport's water front with its busy marinas, and its' famous Freeport "Nautical Mile", featuring dozens of restaurants, and alluring shops.
The theme of the Freeport Gem and Mineral Shows has always been "products produced by mother earth". Our vendors include numerous mineral dealers, some with extensive knowledge of the metaphysical properties of minerals and crystals. And we have the finest fossil dealers to exhibit on Long Island. Our gemstone and jewelry vendors offer rare loose gemstones, as well as finished jewelry items ranging from high-end precious gemstones set in platinum and gold, to more affordable silver pieces. Much of the jewelry is handmade, and you can meet the designers who will be happy to discuss their work with you. And our bead dealers offer the widest variety, and finest quality beads available anywhere.
We sincerely hope you will be able to attend one of our shows. The schedule of these events is available using the "SHOW DATES" button to the left of this window. Admission is $6.00 for adults, but TELL THE CASHIER THAT YOU SAW THIS ON OUR WEB SITE AND GET $1.00 OFF . Children 12 and under, accompanied by an adult, are free. If there will be 5 or more adults in your party, call us for group rates. We are looking forward to seeing you soon. Every penny of the admission fee goes to the Freeport Recreation Center to help support programs for children and seniors.
