An owl pellet is a small, oval object that an owl regurgitates after swallowing its prey. It is made up of the indigestible parts of the owl’s food like bones, fur, feathers, teeth, plant matter, or insect exoskeletons. What we find in an owl pellet can provide insight into what the owl has recently eaten and can be used to learn about the food chain, animal anatomy, and ecology!
This is not a drop-off program. If your child requires accommodations, if you have any questions, are interested in group rates, or would like to purchase registration for additional adults, please contact erenwick@plantingfields.org
48 Hour Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel, you will be credited the amount towards a future children’s workshop.
*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
