JUNIOR KEEPERS: ANDEAN BEARS - Queens Zoo (Grades 3-5)

Roll up your sleeves and get ready to explore the importance of Andean Bear conservation while studying some of the Queens Zoo’s residents! During this interactive program you will learn about skills and technology needed to help conserve species around the world through behind-the-scenes experiences with our animal care staff, conduct wildlife censuses, and deliver a special treat to one of our exhibit animals during this early-access program.
Get ready to put your animal skills to the test as we learn about the Queens Zoo’s residents through up-close animal encounters, behind-the-scenes looks with our animal care team, and hands-on activities. This is a drop off program. Participants will meet small ambassador animals during the program. Participants will not have direct contact with exhibit animals.
