Leadership-The Leading Edge at The Albany Academies

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 07/24/2020
Campers develop skills as leaders through a multitude of activities. Group dynamics, team building, problem solving and practicing professional skills (resume writing, interviewing, building a college application) and community service projects with Ronald McDonald House and The Albany Academies are at the core of this program. (Entering grades 9-10)

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately.

What does it take to prepare for college and for a job? Are you resilient enough to handle what life throws at you? Join us for two weeks of leadership training, service and fun as campers explore the connections between psychology, sociology, social action and community. Each day campers will challenge themselves to become more effective leaders through team building games, problem solving and by practicing professional skills (resume writing, building a strong college application, etc.). At the core of leadership is our daily experience serving the local community - including Ronald McDonald House, our neighbor, Beth Emeth, and The Albany Academies. Hone your skills, connect to community and change the world!
