Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
    • 8:45 a.m.: March as a community from First Baptist Church Glen Cove, 7 Continental Pl, Glen Cove, to Robert Finley Middle School – Wunsch Arts Center, 1 Forest Ave., Glen Cove, alongside other community-based organizations and supporters.
    • 9:15 a.m.: Attend a program commemorating the life and legacy of Dr. King featuring speeches from local leaders and Long Islanders, including self-advocate Noah Probert at Robert Finley Middle School,  Wunsch Arts Center, 1 Forest Ave., Glen Cove.

Advance Dr. King’s Legacy of Community Activism: Help Glen Cove Residents Who Are Struggling With Food Insecurity. We invite members of the Glen Cove community to join us in making this a day of service for the entire Glen Cove community. By bringing canned goods/non-perishable food items* to the January 20 march, you will be helping Glen Cove residents who are coping with food insecurity.

    • Food donations will be collected from 9 a.m.-Noon outside of Finley Middle School. All food donations will benefit the food pantry, Nosh Delivers! in Glen Cove. No glass items please.
