MID-ISLAND CANTIAGUE PARK Hicksville • West John Street • 516-571-7056 East of Cantiague Rock Road Centrally located in Hicksville, this 127-acre park offers a variety of recreational opportunities, with five tennis courts; three basketball courts; baseball and athletic fields, including a beautiful new multi-sport synthetic turf field; and a large playground. In addition, there is a summer “water theme park” with an Olympic-sized pool, two water slides, a diving pool, a “kiddie” pool, a training pool and an interactive water-play area. WANTAGH PARK Wantagh • 1 King Road • 516-571-7460 Just south of Merrick Road This 111-acre park is one the oldest in the Nassau County Parks system, and one of the most beautiful, bordered on the south by Flat Creek with the East Bay beyond. The park has several baseball and athletic fields, a large playground area, tennis and basketball courts, 18-hole mini-golf course, a 2-mile fitness trail incorporating a variety of exercise stations, and walking paths along the scenic bay. The spectacular summer “water theme park” incorporates an Olympic-size pool, two 32-foot water slides, diving, “kiddie” and training pools, and an interactive water-play area.

AGES 5 - 12 separated into four categories: 5 - 6 | 7 - 8 | 9 - 10 | 11 - 12 Grouping with friend requests will be honored to the best of the camp’s ability, but may be limited to number of friends and age categories of children. Campers need to be at least 5 years old and no older than 12 years old by June 30th to be eligible for the program. ACTIVITIES In addition to 45 minutes of open swim, a typical day can include: arts & crafts; board games; Quick Start Tennis, and sports such as baseball, basketball, flag football, Wiffle Ball, Kan Jam, soccer, volleyball and golf. Nassau County reserves the right to limit the activities at each park.

IMPORTANT NOTES Severe weather could cancel the Summer Recreation Program. This Program is only outdoors and will not commence if there is severe weather before camp begins. Program MAY be cancelled should there be severe weather throughout the day. A phone call will be made to parents by 7:30am if camp will be cancelled. Parents must retrieve children immediately if camp is cancelled during camp hours. Communications from the camp office will be sent through the Remind Application. Details of the application will be given with camp orientation packet that will be emailed prior to start of camp. Late pick up may result in surcharge and fees. Pick up is PROMPTLY at 4:00pm. Failure to pick up your child in a timely manner may result in expulsion from camp. Parents are encouraged to provide children with sunscreen and instruct in self-use. All clothing and personal items that children will bring to camp must be properly labeled. Campers will provide their own lunches and snacks daily. We are a nut and peanut free program

All of our counselors are fingerprinted and background checked by the Nassau County Police Department. This program is licensed by the New York Department of Health and, as such, is required to be inspected twice a year. REGISTRATION DEADLINE MAY 22, 2025 TOTAL $1200 to be paid in full at time of online registration by credit card only. After 1st child is paid in full, there is a sibling discount of $50 off for a second child, third, etc. Refunds for tuition only are available until May 22nd 2025. Registration Fees are non-refundable.
