What does a day with Nature Explorers look like?
Our day incorporates many different learning styles/techniques that are both individual and group geared.
We will meet the learner where they are at.
Days will typically begin discussing the weather of the day/time of year/seasonal activities. We then usually have a discussion or role play session about self-worth/empowerment.
Portfolio-building based on each student's natural interests will involve research, art, geography, science and writing.
Students will also be encouraged to collaborate on projects and give presentations of their work daily. Individualized reading and math lessons are part of the daily routine.
We always leave time for free play and physical activity as well. Movement is key to our philosophy and different areas will be set up throughout the studio.
