Owls and Birds of Prey at Queens County Farm Museum | Kids Out and About Long Island

Owls and Birds of Prey at Queens County Farm Museum

Led by our STEM team, you will learn about barn owls and snowy owls. These are two different types of birds of prey. You will examine owl pellets to determine what was eaten by that particular owl. We will learn fascinating facts about these beautiful creatures, why they are called birds of prey, how they communicate, and how they take care of their offspring.
