Planting Fields Presents: Asian Cultural Festival

A dazzling array of daytime performances will be presented in the landscape surrounding Coe Hall, followed by an evening concert. The grounds of Coe Hall will feature traditional Chinese performances and artists.

2:00 PM Performance: The Art of Face Changing by Li Ping Zhang, followed by Humor acrobatic performer Xiao Di Yang. 

3:30 PM Music Across the Map: a performance by young musicians of the Ischool of Music and Art.

All daytime performances and activities are included in the $8 parking fee.

 

Evening Concert Celebrating the Music of Asia and the Pacific

5:30 - 7:00 PM From East to West: This ticketed concert will feature acclaimed musicians, celebrating both folk and modern songs from Japan, China, Korea, and the Philipines on the West Portico. Bring your own seating. You must arrive after 4:45 PM in order to avoid the $8 parking fee.

Featuring: Asako Takasaki, Wei Ding, Yun Jung Bae, Laura Dadp, Vivian Zheng, Mike Dadap & Folkloric Quintet
