Scavenger Stories

Find the stories hidden under your sofa cushions! Writers will go on a guided scavenger hunt for inspiration around the house and use their discoveries to craft short stories.

This online workshop is a guided scavenger hunt for young writers ages 8-11. During our time together, we'll hunt for characters, settings, plots, and more. By the end, we'll have new short stories to share.
Students will be on zoom for the workshop but moving around the house quite a bit. All that's needed is internet access and a pencil and paper, and the stories will reveal themselves!
