Sugaring season is finally here! Join us for an informative and hands-on look at the complete process behind everyone's favorite pancake topper. Learn all about maple trees, the tools of the trade, then head to the preserve to tap them yourself! End with a maple syrup taste test!
About SMLI's Family Workshops:
SMLI's Explore It! family workshop series invites families to take a deep dive into unique science topics. Each workshop will feature hands-on activities and demonstrations.
- This is not a drop-off program. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Tickets must be purchased for all attendees over the age of 3 *discount available for adults
- Participants should enter via the visitor entrance and park in the visitor lot.
- Pre-registration is required, but occasionally, there are drop-in spots available day of.
