Families with kids who love cars should"vroom, vroom" over to the Ninth Annual Southold American Legion Car Show on August 27, to check out more than 100 antique, hot rod and collectible cars and motorcycles. The Southold American Legion Griswold Terry Glover Post 803 Car Show will be held at the Legion Post, 51655 Main Rd. in Southold from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27. Automobile and motorcycle collectors, restorers and enthusiasts are invited to show their vehicles and compete for the People’s Choice Award. There is a $20 entry fee for vehicles. The public is invited to attend for free to enjoy the exhibit and all the festivities. The Car Show will include live music, vendors, a food truck, raffles and representatives of Veterans Affairs from Northport and Long Island Cares Veterans Project will be on hand to share information and answer questions.
