When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, they are prepared for an adjustment period, but not for the town’s strict ban on dancing, imposed by a local preacher determined to control the youth. As Ren challenges the status quo, he faces small-town prejudice, navigates new relationships, and inspires the community to find joy again.
Set to a rockin’ Top 40 score featuring dynamic new songs alongside familiar favorites, Footloose is an exuberant, heartfelt celebration of the power of youth, resilience, and the freedom to dance.
