Town of North Hempstead Fall Family Festival

North Hempstead's annual Fall Family Festival will take place on Saturday, October 5 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at North Hempstead Beach Park. The Fall Family Festival with feature live music from VHS Cover Band and the Rusty Spur Band. VHS is a 5-piece band consisting of veteran players from bands across the Long Island area. Rusty Spur is a country band that blends both modern country songs with traditional country classics. Be sure to bring a beach chair to enjoy the shows! The event will also feature many free, fall-themed activities including a pumpkin patch, a pumpkin maze, arts & crafts, button making, Girl Scouts of Nassau County Traveling Trefoil, a spooky slime bar, bouncy slides, a mechanical trackless fire engine, character meet-and-greets, and a Boot Camp obstacle course. Attendees will be able to purchase food and refreshments from local vendors.
