Join the Vancouver Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra for a spectacular season finale! The afternoon opens with Mendelssohn’s beloved Violin Concerto, featuring the incomparable Jonathan Crow, Concertmaster of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
Then, prepare for an immersive journey through the cosmos as VAMSO presents Holst’s The Planets. This breathtaking performance blends live orchestral music with stunning visual projections from the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, creating a multi-sensory experience that brings the solar system to life.
Each movement unveils the mythology, character, and astrological influence of the planets, guiding audiences through the grandeur of the universe.
