The New York State Museum proudly presents the Virtual “Women of Science” programming on FaceBook and YouTube throughout the remaining month of August! These presentations will allow you to meet Museum scientists and learn about their work, current research projects or the collections they manage. Although most videos are pre-recorded, you can post questions that the scientists will gladly answer.
Wednesday, August 12 at 1pm – Cultural Resource Survey Program (CRSP) with Dr. Christina Reith
Wednesday, August 19 at 1pm – Caring for Unique Records in the Geologic Open File with Kathleen Bonk
Thursday, August 20th at 1pm – Archaeology with Dr. Daria Merwin
Tuesday, August 25th at 1pm – Geo-Physical Testing at the Douw 1 Site, Papscane Island, NY with Susan Winchell-Sweeney & Kristin O’Connell
Wednesday, August 26th at 1pm – Fossils in the Field with Dr. Lisa Amati, Sarita Morse, and Kathleen Bonk
