Chickenshed NYC

Chickenshed NYC is an inclusive theatrical community where children and young people can discover their creativity, build confidence and develop theatrical skills alongside professional theatre artists. For younger children, Chickenshed offers interactive musical experiences for ages 2–5 and playful theatre-making programs for ages 3–7, where children explore singing, movement, puppetry, storytelling, and imaginative play.  For ages 7+, theatre programs give young people the opportunity to develop their skills, collaborate as an ensemble, and create and perform in two mainstage productions each year. With a no-audition approach and a welcoming, supportive environment, Chickenshed provides a place for young people to explore, create, perform, and grow—whether they are taking their first steps into theatre or developing a passion for the stage.
