The Sag Harbor Yacht Club has been a colorful fixture on the waterfront of the historic village of Sag Harbor since 1899. The Clubs' mission is "To serve our members, the yachting community and the Community at Large." With its beautifully maintained docks accommodating large and small vessels of both sail and power, its spectacular Fourth of July fireworks display, the annual Maycroft Cup Regatta and its many contributions to our local organizations, the Sag Harbor Yacht Club more than fulfills its mission's mandate. The Club provides dockage, fuel, water, and services both to transient boaters and its members from April through November. SHYC is the perfect destination for boaters visiting Sag Harbor for the first time and for our valued guests who return year after year.

The quaint club house building located in the center of the dock facilities has served as a village landmark since 1914 and is a fond reminder of the area's maritime heritage. With membership comprised mostly of local residents, the Club plays a significant role in the economic, cultural and social life of Sag Harbor. Its ardent sailors extend the Club’s influence with their successes in world class races, while members, flying the club's burgee, continually cruise the waters of the World.

The Sag Harbor Yacht Club is truly a gem in one of our country's loveliest communities. The Club is just a five minute walk to the center of Sag Harbor’s Main Street and a short car or bike ride to the Hamptons. Conveniently located in the center of Long Island’s South Fork, Sag Harbor is also close to many historic sites, vineyards, farms, mansions, scenic vistas and some of the World's best beaches.
