Since 2013, the O’Seas Conservation Foundation has given students rare access to real-world wildlife conservation. Our signature program, SHARK CAMP, is a week-long immersive field experience in Montauk, NY designed specifically for high school students who love the ocean and Science.
Founded by Discovery Channel Shark Week scientist Dr. Craig O’Connell and Dr. Nicole O’Connell, our organization is dedicated to protecting sharks while inspiring the next generation of marine scientists.
During SHARK CAMP, students:
1) Learn directly from professional shark researchers by spending a week in the field
2) Participate in real shark tagging and filming efforts
3) Build confidence, scientific skills, and unforgettable memories.
